Pool and Pavilion for the
Leeder Family
For this project we designed the swimming pool and barbecue pavilion for the ranch house of the owner of I-10 Building Materials, for whom we had earlier designed a stone Greenhouse on the same property. The site overlooks the Texas Hill Country, and the pool combines a straight-line lap lane with curvilinear play areas. At the end, overlooking the valley below, is a circular stone spa, next to the pavilion's wet bar. Materials are native Sisterdale limestone, native cedar roof trusses and steel beams. The stone columns are megaliths, single pieces cut directly from the quarry.
