1998 Ana Martinez has been surrounded by design all of her life. Her father, Arq. Manuel Martinez Paez, was a prominent member of the national Colegio de los Arquitectos Mexicanos, and her family includes architects and industrial designers in Mexico City, Cuernavaca, and Milan. Sra. Martinez studied industrial design and graphic design at Mexico City's elite Universidad Iberoamericana and began her professional career with the prestigious ZIMAT Design Center in Mexico City, where she became Director of Photography. After working on projects for food companies, Ana studied gastronomy and became a certified chef. Ana's experience includes annual reports, corporate identity, and signage, but her particular expertise is design for food products. Her clients include food companies, restaurants, commercial photographers and other design firms. In San Antonio her first project was a collaboration with architect Christopher Egan for the design of Winesource, and she is currently designing signage and corporate identity for the firm's architectural projects and for other local businesses.
